BOGART's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

BOGART's Story...
Bogart is a Lab/Boxer/Bulldog? mix that was pulled from the Shelter because he stayed there too long and got himself put on the urgent list. His time was getting close and shelter staff said he was a good boy so rescue pulled him out of the shelter. Bogart is about 2 to 3 years old, weighs about 65 to 70 pounds, he is up to date on his shots, has been tested for heartworms, has been de-wormed and neutered. Bogart is house trained and crate trained and likes to spend his quiet time in his crate. He likes to go for walks and does pretty well on a leash. Bogart knows basic commands like sit and shake. He does not like cats and is not very good with male dogs that are his size, but he likes to play with his foster sibling who is a Boston Terrier. He would do well in a home with no other dogs or maybe a smaller female dog. He loves people and he loves playing with his human foster children. We would like him to have a home with a fenced yard so he can run and play with his new furever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BOGART, a Wilmington Labrador Retriever/Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Bulldog for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Bulldog dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Bulldog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
