Roc is a 4-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix who had a rough start in life and, as a result, is a little shy with new people. However, once he knows you, he’s an entirely different dog.
Roc weighs about 80 pounds. He has a huge loving soul and enjoys nothing more than spending time with you and what I call snuffling--smelling you, your hair and clothing while seeking love from his person. All he wants is to be loved and be around people, especially children.
He walks well on leash and loves to go for walks and experience things that he has never had a chance to do in his previous life. A home visit will be conducted to help ensure the best fit for Roc and his new family. Roc is being fostered in the East County.
