Pinky's Story...
Pinky is searching for a loving foster or adoptive home! This sweet girl is around 2 years old and was saved from a shelter where she was very sad and depressed…and was going to be euthanized. She is a very good girl that is very friendly with everyone she meets. She does well around other dogs, but does seem to prefer males.

Pinky is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, de-wormed, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. Her adoption donation of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Lucky Dog Rescue. For more information or to get a foster or adoption application, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net. She is currently located near Chicago, IL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pinky, a Chicago American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
