My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Laney! Look into this beautiful girl's big golden eyes and you can see how far she's come. Laney was originally wandering around as a stray by the Home Depot. She was well fed by kind strangers, but too skittish for anyone to ever get close enough. Luckily, a volunteer at the shelter worked with her until finally (3 months later!), she made a wrong move into a garage and got caught. It was apparent that Laney had recently gotten attacked due to puncture wounds all over her body. She was completely shut down at the shelter, but remembered her friend (now foster dad!) from her time on the streets. Now that she is in her foster home, she is happier than ever. She plays like a puppy and cannot get enough attention from the family. Sweet Laney finally learned that people aren't that bad!

At around 3 years old, Laney weighs in just over 50lbs, making her a great size for holding down the couch! Now that she is out of her shell at home, she gets along well with other dogs (including ones half her size!) and even children. Because she is still learning to trust, a quiet, patient home would be ideal. Laney attaches very quickly and has a lot of love to give to her forever family. Will you be that family?

All Dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and given a physical by a veterinarian prior to adoption.

Laney is currently in foster care so, if interested, please email us today!
