Hello there! Thank-you for clicking on my adorable little picture, I’d love to meet you. Let me tell you a little bit about adopting me so that we can get to know each other better!
My name is Jordan and I am a 4 month old male pup who came to NBS Animal Rescue to find the perfect fur-ever home for me! My foster mom and dad met my mom and dad - my Dad was a 7 year old Shih Tzu / Brussels Griffon mix, and my mom was a medium sized Black Lab.
I am a super sweet and loving fella who loves to give the best puppy kisses - no seriously, I give the best puppy kisses in the WHOLE state of Michigan! I love to play with toys, chase after balls and chew on sticks in my foster homes fenced yard. I love meeting new people - they are always so nice to me, usually they have a tasty little treat to share with me and they love to rub my whiskers and tell me how adorable my little face is. Who could get tired of that, right? :-)
I visited the doggy doctor and got a clean bill of health and I'm up to date on all of my puppy vaccines. I'm even doing super great with learning to potty outside! I know how to sit, love playing with other dogs, and am learning how to walk nicely on a leash too! I am looking for a family who will take me for walks and let me explore the fenced backyard with them, who will snuggle me on the couch, and give me lots of puppy treats as I continue to learn new tricks!
My friends at NBS Animal Rescue are helping me to find the perfect fur-ever home. All of the dogs in our rescue are have different personalities and needs within an adoptive home. Not all of my friends here at NBS Animal Rescue have the same requirements, so if I’m not be the perfect fit for your family- be sure to check out my other doggy friends too! For me?
These are the things I fur-sure need in my fur-ever home!
- Family who is gone no longer than 5 hour periods.
- Children must be 8 years or older.
- 100% fenced in yard.
If you think I might be the perfect addition to your family please follow these steps:
1.) Visit www.nbsar.org to fill out my adoption application. As an approved adopter, my rescue friends can set up a home visit so I can meet you. Our rescue is 100% run by volunteers, to help your application be processed as quickly as possible, please make sure to….
2.) Call your veterinarian and give them permission to release information about your current and past pet’s veterinary history.
3.) Call your references too! Let them know to expect a phone call from an unknown phone number, and a rescue team member will need to talk to them on the phone as a reference.
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes a DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine (age appropriate), heartworm test (age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food. If you’d like to meet me, please apply online and to become an approved adopter!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative , spayed/neutered (unless a documented medical reason is on file with your veterinarian). Dogs must be current on Distemper DHPP combo vaccine and Rabies vaccine, cats must be current on Distemper and Rabies at the time of application. This also applies to any pets in your home within the past five years.
