Chiona is a great little pooch. She is definitely one of our current shelter stars! Indeed, she's smart, cute, has great play manners and is eager to please. Chiona's whole body wriggles with excitement, whether at the prospect of going out for a walk, or merely the imminence of getting a treat. This youngster gets along beautifully with other dogs, and has had some rocking good times in the shelter's play area with another shelter dog. She recently attended a doggie fun event with a volunteer and was well-behaved with every dog she met! Chiona also did very well riding in the car. What a good girl!

Chiona has also been attending BadRap training classes with a shelter volunteer, and demonstrating her smarts, Chiona has been picking up the new commands quickly. Her solid, confident temperament makes her an excellent candidate for a family, but a single person would undoubtedly find in Chiona, a wonderful companion, too. She would also be a fabulous second dog if you're looking for a playmate for your pooch.
