Dewey is a petite little lady that will steal year heart the second you lay your eyes on her! She was just a few weeks old when somebody left her in a box outside of a Chicago library. So even though she is a girl, Dewey was the perfect name for her ~ she is named after the Dewey Decimal System. She is the absolute sweetest thing and starts purring the minute you walk into the room. She responds the minute you call her to you and happily jumps into your hands prepared to cuddle. She loves to snuggle up next to your neck and even gives kisses!

Dewey loves to play in her little kitty cat tunnel with her foster buddy who is her new best friend! She shared her foster home with him, two large dogs, and an adult cat. Dewey is also very good with kids, she has had play time with children as little as 2 years old and is always very gentle!

Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a playful cat. Dewey would really like a playmate in her forever home…and then they can get to play, and snuggle while you're not home. If there is already another playful cat or kitten in your house, that would work out too…she already proved she is great at making friends!

Dewey’s estimated date of birth is 3/22/15. Her adoption fee of $135 includes her vet exam, FVRCP vaccinations, FIV & Feline Leukemia testing (neg), routine deworming, flea control, microchip and spay.
