Critter Confessions: Hey it's me, Chandler. I came into Zoe's with my mom and siblings when I was just a wee little kitty. I have grown a lot since then and I am almost ready for adoption. I'm just your typical kitten and enjoy spending my time playing, eating and sleeping. My mom, Rachel likes it best when we are sleeping. Taking care of 5 rambunctious kittens is a lot of work but we are so worth it. Just look at my cute little face and you will see it too. I've got to go, Joey is trying to pick a fight with me. Meow! Hope to see you soon!

About my Behaviour: I'm still pretty little, so check back in a couple of weeks.

How’s my Health? I will be neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped when I'm old enough. Zoe's is pretty sure I'm a male, but with young kittens it can be hard to tell for the first few weeks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chandler, a Edmonton Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
