My story

Yes, it's a Boston Terrier, and what a delightfully fun little guy he is! Rufus was reluctantly given to Kiko's care when it became clear that he could not adapt to sharing the limelight with a small human child. This lively and playful terrier will be 7 years of age in July but has the energy of a pup! Rufus responds to basic commands, is not a big barker, and loves being around people. His charming ways have endeared him to everyone he's met. The ideal home for Rufus will have dog experience, older or no children, daily walks, and a fenced backyard for safe playtime. Please read up on the characteristics of this breed and complete an adoption questionnaire on our website if you think you can offer our special Rufus the perfect home.

All Kiko dogs have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, dewormed, tested for heartworm, sterilized, and require an adoption fee of $400 ($275 for senior dogs and $125 for cats) and an adoption contract.
