My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This striking beauty is Pepper, who had been purchased as a mix of Border Collie and Golden Retriever from an online classified ad. We see Border Collie in her markings and not much Golden, maybe Husky because of her ears, but whatever she is, Pepper is very sweet with a lovely temperament. Unfortunately, she grew to be much bigger than her senior owner could handle in her small apartment. We were told that Pepper is about 7 months of age and is currently about 50 pounds, but she is quite proportionate and it does not appear that she will grow into much more than a medium-sized dog. Now that she is getting ample exercise, Pepper is calm and happy. She gets along great with cats and other dogs, and is also comfortable around horses and goats. Pepper is getting basic training while in foster care and is responding very well. She is very gentle and would make a great pet for an active family, perhaps even a family with minimal canine experience.
