Hi guys it's me Fez and I'm looking for a best friend and playmate! I came into rescue with my sister because we both had severe cases of mange. Well that's all gone now and I am ready for my forever home!
My ideal home would be one where there is at least one other dog as I love to play! I love my humans too and sometimes I get a little too excited and jump, my foster home is working on that. Because I'm playful and like to jump a home with younger kids might not be the best, I live with two teenagers now and they love me! Stairs? No problem! House or apartment? I'm cool with both! I live in a house now but I don't bark much so I'm sure I'd be fine in either.
I didn't really know to do my pottying outside when I came into rescue but I am making great improvements! I have bells by my door and am getting much better about ringing them to let you know I have to potty. It's still a work in progress :-)
Medically my mange is gone and my eyes are all fixed! Woo Hoo! While in rescue my foster parents noticed I would sometimes regurgitate my food. The vet diagnosed me with a condition called megaesaphagus. To manage this I eat from a raised bowl three times a day and take an antacid pill. No special diet needed I do best on a medium sized dry kibble. I go days without any regurgitation, but it happens a few times a week.
