Mosby's Story...

Can you spell fun??  At FOPAS it is spelled M O S B Y.  This young (estimated DOB 6/2014) male Beagle/Labrador Retriever mix is so much fun, he never wants to stop playing!  He romps with abandon with both people and every dog that he meets.   He can roll around in the mud, then in an hour or so his think and super-soft coat is back to its beautiful golden color!  Mosby hasn't  outgrown  his puppy enthusiasm and wonder at everything in the world.  He'll keep his new family laughing and on the go; a young guy like Mosby is constantly curious and busy.  Mosby is a smart boy, and this is just the right time for training. While he's right at 40 pounds now, Mosby may add a couple of pounds as he matures.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mosby, a Parkville Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Beagle for sale in Parkville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog from a breeder in Parkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Beagle breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
