Layla's story:

The doorbell rang and look what was left on the doorstep. In Northwoods Hill in Hernando, MS a total of 6 pups were distributed in the neighborhood and so far 4 have been accounted for. We hope and pray the other 2 are ok.
The young boy was instructed by his father to get rid of the pups before he got home from work. Why? Hernando has a no kill shelter there was no reason to dispose of these babies in this manner.
We were also told the "brown" mother dog ran off.......somehow I'm having a hard time believing this.

Layla is about 5-6 weeks old, wormed, has her first puppy vaccine and will be spayed and microchipped soon.

Her adoption fee is $120.

Save 1 Pet is a 501 (c) 3 approved charity committed to helping homeless animals. We don't have a facility (shelter) but work out of our homes to foster the animals until they find a forever home.

Please be advised that for all adoptions, we will conduct reference checks, including veterinary references. Our adoption fee for dogs includes spay/neuter, heart worm check, current vaccines, microchip, worming and heart worm/flea/tick prevention.
For dog adoptions, we do conduct fence verifications.
