Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there everyone, I’m Bo, an 18 month old boy and I weigh about 75 lbs. I had been with my family since I was 2 months old, but several of their children developed allergies to me so they contacted AGB for help. Though it was hard to give me up, the AGB volunteers crossed their hearts and pinky promised they would find a perfect forever family for me. I have a little skin and ear infection right now, but the doctors here say they will have me all well and ready to go in a jiffy, which is good because I am ready to be with people! I’m house and crate trained and I get along with cats and most dogs. I LOVE kids! In fact my last family had 5 of them from 3-14 years old and I played with all of them really well. I also like to swim and go for rides in the car. I know some tricks like come, sit and shake and I also walk well on a leash. Sometimes I can be a little shy at first especially during this “re-homing” process, but I warm up pretty quickly. It didn’t take me long at the Vet to crawl into the tech’s lap during my exam and then I let them do whatever they wanted, as long as I was getting cuddled! Sometimes that sweet lady would stop petting me to write down some notes and I just tapped her with my paw to let her know I was waiting for another pet. She must have thought that was pretty cute, because it worked every time and then I would give her kisses. She gave me some treats and I was careful to be gentle when taking them from her. She called me a good boy for that and of course that made my tail wag! If you would like to add a sweet, smart, friendly, loving, boy like me to your family, go ahead and fill out the adoption application on AGB’s website and mention you want to meet me, Bo. I’ll see you soon! Please visit me at www.adoptagoldenbirmingham.com or call 205-937-2339 or email camcowen@charter.net
