My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

 My name is Amber! I'm a terrier mix of some sort (I wish I could tell you more but I just really don't remember my parents all that well). I found myself lost and was picked up by a white truck with a cage in the back. It was very scary. 

I was taken to a place with cages and lots of  barking dogs. People came to visit me but I did not know  any of them. I was afraid this place would be my new home and that I would never run free or even put my paws on grass again. 

Then an amazing thing happened, I was rescued. I went to live at a foster home with little girls to play with and chickens to harass (okay the chickens did not think that was as much fun as I thought it was) and HORSES! Oh my goodness, I do like horses! My foster mom would take me with when she went riding and I was always careful to run alongside without getting too close. I could run and run and run. Then we would go back home and I'd be so happily exhausted.  

I had to leave that foster home and go to a new one (but not because I was bad, I'm sure it was not anything I did, and the rescue people and  my foster mom assured me this was true) and I went to another foster home with HORSES!

So i need to stop moving around. I would love to have children to love and I do need to have a lot of play time with my people to use up my happy, exuberant energy. If I get enough exercise, and I'm not tempted by chickens, I promise to be a good girl.
