Hello everyone…I’m Storm. I’m a 4-year-old purebred Papillon with an emerging wonderful personality…quirky but endearing!
But first things first…how fun are my big ears? They are my “thing!” My foster mom loves how big they get when I’m listening to something.
I was raised by an elderly woman and didn’t have a lot of exposure to the outside world. So when I first arrived at my foster home, I was a nervous mess. But my transformation over the past week has been truly amazing!
My personality is really starting to bloom and my foster mom says I’m quite the character. I really enjoy people and want to be loved. But since I didn’t have a lot of opportunity before now, I am still kind of nervous with new people. Every day though, I am trusting the world more and more!
Because of some back and neck issues, I can’t do stairs. But I will let you know when I want you to come and help me because I have decided I really enjoy being where the action is…with all the people!
While I haven’t spent much time outside before, I’m very curious about the great outdoors and enjoy running around the backyard. And I’ve made great progress with my potty training…I’m not 100% quite yet. But huge improvement in just one week!
I think I will do the best in a home with not a lot of traffic in and out the door. And perhaps no children who will frighten me or not know how to gently handle me? I’m a little delicate with my small frame and back issues.
So what do you think? Should we get together and I can show off my cool ears and funny, quirky charm?
