Lenci's Story...
Notes from the foster mom: "Both Lenci and Jax are adventurous and playful. They both purr a lot and love to be right on my daughter and I when we sit down or lay down. They are extremely affectionate. Since they were bottle-fed I think they are much warmer to humans than had they had their mom around. I have a large pit-bull/lab mixed dog and they are fine with the dog. They are both very curious and like to bat around pens/pencils and toys on the floor. They also like to cuddle up with a blanket or sleep on something plush when it's nap time. They can be found cuddling together almost all the time too. The boy - Jax meow's louder than the girl but they don't meow a lot. The only way to tell them apart at first glance is by their front paws. Jax has more white on his paws than Lenci and a little rounder face but that's really it. They are both fully litter-box trained and haven't had an issue at all with "missing" the box."

They are lovable and will make a family or two very very happy for years to come.
Lenci is a such a beautiful and loving girl! Please come see her and the other cats that are available at the PetSmart store in the District Shopping Center/Tustin. Adoptions are held every Saturday from 12-4.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lenci, a Irvine Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
