Fescue's Story...
Fescue - female - born April 7 - charcoal and white long hair

One of the two female kittens in the Hayseeds litter, Fescue is a beautiful and remarkable looking kitten because of the prominent diamond shaped marking on her nose. Calm and tolerant, Fescue is open to new people and experiences. Her earnest and trusting nature is the primary characteristic of this unflappable little kitten, whose poise and confidence have been in evidence since she was very tiny.

Fescue is very apt to roll over onto her back to invite gentle skritches on her round tummy, although she is up on a dime to engage in tumbling matches with her three other siblings. Fescue has always been the largest member of her litter, which may have contributed to her comically placid personality. She is compact and sturdy, and a very healthy, beautiful little girl, and is fastidious in her use of the litter box.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fescue, a Rockville Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Rockville, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Rockville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockville paves the way for another one to be saved.
