Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mya is shy at first but then loves to be next to people and just cuddle. She is a quiet lovely dog. She lived with cats and was good with them. We think 10 and older for kids as she is quite timid and a flight risk so a fence is required. Mya is 1-2 years old. She is a quiet lovely dog. She lived with cats and was good with them.
Mya is in foster care and her foster mom says: Mya is very calm and is getting along nicely with our 2 dogs. She is not yet playing, but is very comfortable with them and with her humans. She is shy at first, but went right up to both my sister and niece and lay down at their feet after just a couple of minutes. Initially she was not interested in treats, but later was chowing down cheese and other treats.
She is a flight risk, as she is scouting the fence and gate for a way out (less so today than yesterday). She will bolt and we’ve been working on “wait” when they go outside….. not sure she would wait if given the opportunity so a fenced yard is a must.
She is not afraid of most noises, with the exception of loud barking by my dogs. She’s not a fan of the crate, but once in she is very quiet and calm.
LOVES the couch and we are constantly using the “off” command. She challenges it, but eventually lays at your feet. She is SO, SO sweet !
