My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet 7-8 month old adorable and super sweet Marigold! She is the sweetest and gently energetic lab–basenji (?) mix ever to come out of north Georgia. This coolest and cutest labby girl was rescued from a high kill Gordon County Shelter in Calhoun Georgia. Marigold is very affectionate, loveable and great in he house! She is a small 20lbs currently. But is still a pup so will grow a bit more- but we still expect her to be well under 25-30lbs max. Marigold waited patiently for several weeks for foster mom Tracy Hunter to be able to take her home. Now this happy and healthy pup is headed to Washington! Marigold has a great temperament and loves to play. She enjoys the outdoors and can’t wait to be your best buddy and hiking pal. Fun-loving and super social, Marigold is ready for an active forever family. Marigold is highly outgoing, affectionate and calm. She is fun-loving and curious, would be good running, walking and exercise partner. She needs some work on her leash skills but loves being out and about with you. She will be the star of the puppy training class and will love the social aspect of it too. Marigold gets along very well with other dogs- love to play with any or all dogs of all sizes and ages. She is good with cats and horses and she gets along good with children too. Marigold would enjoy a fenced back yard but would be fine in a condo or apt too as long as she got her regular exercise. A canine sibling would make her happy too- but so would doggie day care or play dates with doggie friends. Marigold is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. She is house-trained and crate trained and very good and calm in the house. She is quiet, not a barker and good in the car. Her adoption fee is $500, and includes a donation to our local spay and neuter clinic as we want to part of the over-population solution in the south. This gorgeous retriever pup would be easy to take anywhere with you and she’s ready for awesome adventures and a new northwest life. Marigold is headed out on transport from Georgia on June 17th with arrival into Woodinville on June 20. To apply for this awesome labby girl- go to www.raincityrescue.com (choose adopt tab) or for questions email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com. This loyal and loveable lab can’t wait for a fab family and lots of fun and adventure out of the scary and unsafe south! She shouldn’t have to be wait ever again to get noticed- only waiting for walks and love from and with YOU!
