My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the coolest little girl this side of the Mississippi!! Sullivan was rescued with her 3 babies out of high-kill north Georgia. Sullivan and all her amazing puppies all had skin conditions so no one would look at them due to hair loss. But their foster mom knew it was very treatable and thought them beautiful so home they all came!! Now after weeks of treatment all hair is growing back and amazing personalities have emerged!! Beautiful Sullivan is between one and two years, and the most adorable mix of Boston terrier and Shar Pei (we think!). We even see some French bulldog in her sweetness. Sullivan is not the most photogenic foster we’ve ever had- but you will not find a sweeter more affectionate companion! Miss Sullivan has personality plus and a ton of affection. She is small (weighing 31lbs) medium- high energy and definitely sturdy enough for long walks and daily runs and weekend hikes. This girl needs and wants her exercise and her “me time”. Sullivan LOVES to play with other dogs and she would love a home with another dog. She gets along great with fosters other pups- big and small! Sullivan is getting better on the leash, she is sooo super smart and such a quick learner. She knows sit and stay and working on her other commands. She was a great mom and know is ready to be an amazing companion for you. Sullivan is good with the mellow and dog savvy cats at foster Tracy’s house – but slow intro to kitties always is best. Great with adults of all ages as well as kids, she would love an active family as she is enthusiastic, active and playful. She will bond with you quickly and be just the most loveable and amazing little girl. Sullivan is crate trained and house trained. This active and self-assured cutie has an eagerness to please and learn! She is not a barker, quiet in the house and will come with weekly medication for the next month. She loves the outdoors and car rides and is excellent in the car. She loves to be everywhere you are but not to the point of being “clingy”. I just can’t say enough about this elegant little girl who takes a hold of everyone’s heart after they get to know her! Even though her coat is not beautiful yet- it will be soon. She is athletic but not jumpy but does love to snuggle and take over your bed or the pet bed!! She doesn’t mind rain or inclement weather but still enjoys “dress up” and looking cute and warm! She is outgoing and easy with strangers, and is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Personality plus Sullivan will be driving to Washington on June 17th with arrival in Washington on June 20th. She and we would love it if this adaptable and largely loveable little mom had you waiting to meet her. Any questions email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com or go online to complete an application: www.raincityrescue.com (choose adopt tab). Her adoption fee is $500. The family who adopts this sweetest and most affectionate doll baby will be the luckiest! She’s as fun and happy as they come and so deserving of an active and outgoing family…Sully is just an absolutely great girl!
