Desi and Joje's Story...
**This is a courtesy listing. These dogs are not currently with RCHS. Please contact us for more information**

Desi and Joje are a bonded pair of purebred yorkies. They are 9 year old biological sisters. They love to snuggle and be with their people. Both girls will let you know when they need to potty during the day but may have accidents at night. They would prefer a quieter home with dog savy kids 12 and up or adults only. Both girls must go home together, they have been together for 9 years and would be very sad if separated. They are spayed and have no know health concerns other than dry eye, which requires inexpensive eye drops twice daily.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Desi and Joje, a Manhattan Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
