Tyger's Story...
TYGER is looking for a special home - he's FIV+ but a WONDERFUL cat. See below for details:

Tyger is a 4 year old male domestic medium hair orange/white tabby mix. He has some long hair traits resembling a Maine coon or ragdoll. He is very affectionate (will bond with you), loves attention, and must have a good sense of humor because he laughs at my jokes (see photo 3). He loves to play and be petted, and give head butts. He will also rub against your hair and give you an “Einstein” look hairdo.

He is very active and inquisitive; loves climbing and playing in cat trees; likes mice/ball toys, and shoelace strings. He’s a very good eater (not finicky), uses scratching posts and sisal panels to scratch on, and has no problems with litter box use.

He has tested FIV+ and must go as a single cat, or to a household with another, in-need-of-a-friend FIV+ cat.

Tyger is part of the Yorba Linda location, and will be at adoption shows starting Sunday. For more information and Tyger's social schedule, contact catsinneed@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tyger, a Yorba Linda Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Yorba Linda, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Yorba Linda.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yorba Linda already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yorba Linda breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yorba Linda paves the way for another one to be saved.
