Mikki's Story...
Meet Mikki! He is a stunning, small 3 year old Japanese Chin Mix weighing only 14 lbs. He has a beautiful black coat that shimmers and shines in the light. He is a very sweet, playful, affectionate and obedient little guy. He is a quiet guy who likes to be near at all times. He gets along great with other dogs. He is shy when he first meets someone but will warm up once he is comfortable with you. He is playful and cuddly and likes to go outside walking with his foster mom. He loves to run and explore outside.

He is completely housebroken. He has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on vaccinations. He has no health issues. Due to his shy nature, a home with a secure fence and no small children would be best for Mikki.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mikki, a Haslet Japanese Chin dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Japanese Chin for sale in Haslet, or seeking a Japanese Chin dog from a breeder in Haslet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haslet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haslet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Japanese Chin breeders who help with Japanese Chin rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haslet paves the way for another one to be saved.
