Hello new friends! My name is Iggy! I'm about 1 year old and I weigh 36. 5 lbs.
The folks from the pound discovered me and my friend Buddy living tied outside in deplorable conditions with no clean water to drink (my drinking water was a green pond in the yard) and moldy people food (bread, donuts, etc.). Our owner surrendered us in lieu of having charges pressed against them for neglect with the agreement that they're not allowed to get any more dogs.
I am a very very loving dog. I am so very happy to get attention and get cuddled and loved on.
I get along well with other dogs (as long as they're nice to me and don't try bossing me around) and I have also lived with cats my whole life so I should do well in a new home that has cats also.
I did go inside sometimes and they said that I was housebroken.
If you're looking for a really sweet dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me.
I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER JUNE 11, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
