Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ribeye #3030 is an adorable 2-year-old male, Lab mix. Ribeye is a typical lab; life is all about the ball! He is a super smart; he is leash, kennel, and house trained and knows basic commands. A little shy at first, he warms up quickly, he lives for affection. He has been uprooted a few times in his short life. In his first home he lived with Chihuahuas and children and did well with both. When the family had to move they couldn’t take him. His next home was a high-kill shelter where he was a staff favorite. Now he is at LCAR and is looking for a forever home where he can feel safe and flourish into the wonderful dog that we know he is! Ribeye is looking for adopter who has the time to give him plenty of exercise and help him build his confidence. He would do well as the only dog or with a stable, confident dog to help Ribeye build confidence. He weighs around 90 pounds. We believe you can always teach an "old" dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship.
