My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boomer is a high energy purebred 3 year old purebred Bernese Mountain Dog. He is playful and very affectionate. Social and outgoing. Not a couch potato! He knows basic commands like sit and down. Boomer loves attention. He gets along well with other dogs and with cats. ~~ He does need ongoing training for resource guarding (he sometimes growls/snaps to guard his valued resources - such as food or toys or his favorite person.) We will be looking for an experienced, adult-only home for Boomer. ~~ For more info on the pros and cons of this breed, please first see www.BMDINFO.org and also www.BMDCA.org ~ NOTE: We always require a securely fenced yard for all dog adoptions, especially young dogs of large active breeds. No shock collars!
