My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Theo. I am a 2 ½ year old Boxer/Bulldog mix. I know basic commands such as sit, wait, stay and come. I also have manners. For instance, I don’t jump on people, I don’t chew things up and I only toilet outside. I was found by some nice people all alone and hurt in a parking lot. Even though I was scared I went with them and they took care of and found me a foster home.

My foster family says the two words that best describe me are loyal and affectionate. Although I take my role of protector very seriously, I am friendly with all size humans that my foster mom introduces me to. I love to be petted. I adore the kids in my foster family, who are 7 and 11. I have not tried living with younger kids or cats before.

My favorite thing to do is cuddle up next to one of the humans or curl up in a ball with a blanket. I work very hard when making a nest out of my blankets and my foster mom thinks it’s super cute. I also really ,really like my daily walks and walk on a “loose leash”-usually. : )

I am currently living with a hound-mix female dog about my same age. I didn’t know how to play with her at first, but she and my foster mom taught me. We like to play daily and I always come when foster mom says it is time to stop. I also like snuggling with the other dog. I would love to live with a companion dog, but it would need to be the right match. I am dominant by nature and would need to live with a dog that would let me be the leader. My foster mom recommends that my forever home should be with people that have experience with dog introductions and/or big guys like me.

Thanks for reading my Bio. I would love to meet you at one of our upcoming events. You can also send a message to the home furever folks for more information on me.
