My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look at me...the quintessential Chi-Weenie! I have short little legs and am much smaller than I seem to be in my photos. Not sure how we got to the shelter, but I knew I did not like it once I was there. I am one the the smallest in my litter and am somewhat quiet in my nature. I am learning quickly how nice being held feels! Love cuddling! I am mostly black with a bit of white. I was ten weeks old as of the end of May. I should be under 15 pounds when grown (my foster mom would be surprised if I grew bigger than 12!). I was in Louisiana, and lucky for me, that nice rescue lady came to get me. Even though I try to be brave, it was noisy in the shelter. The lady cared for me, vetted me and made sure I got on transport with Little Paws 4 U. That is a Category A rescue in Rhode Island. I am a puppy, and puppies like me do need companionship, attention and a bit of training (we are close to being perfect, but need a little help!). Please ask about me if you have the time and patience for a little one like me. Please ask about me only if you do not have small children or larger, aggressive dogs. Please ask about me if you are in RI, eastern CT, western MA, Cape Cod, Maine or are near Manhattan NYC, Boston, Worcester or the Fall River areas. My fee of 395. covers all vetting to date, transport to RI, a Health Certificate, an exam by a RI vet, de-worming and I have my own collar and blanket as well.
