Millicent (Millie)'s Story...
Please welcome Millicent to Pen Pals! She is a more laid-back girl that prefers people over dogs. Right now, she's working on socializing with other dogs, but would prefer to be the only dog in the home (she just doesn't want rude dogs in her face). She's working on her manners, but she's the kind of dog who is relaxed and likes some slow, easy exploration on walks and hikes.

Before coming to Pen Pals, sweet Millicent was rescued from an euthanizing animal control with a litter of puppies. She was a good mother and all of her puppies have found their forever it's her turn! Millie is about 3 years old and about 45 lbs. She has a gentle and loving nature, and prefers the company of other gentle, respectful dogs....or better yet, she'd love to be your one and only!

Millicent is receiving obedience training at a Virginia correctional center. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millicent (Millie), a Richmond Redbone Coonhound/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
