Jake is a happy, groofy, playful boy. Jake has a good temperament, he is friendly with people, good with children, and great with dogs of all sizes. Jake loves his daily walks, great on hikes, and does well in doggie parks. He rides well in the car and loves to be out and about as he is a fun and curious boy. Jake started basic obedience training with his foster mom and knows the commands sit and down.

Jake was found abandoned and homeless in a dangerous busy street. He was walking up and down looking for his owners. Poor boy was starving and went up to anyone but no one was nice enough to give him a home. He stayed in the doorstep of a store and slept there for days. The owner was afraid he would affect the store’s business so caught him and left him in a cage and put up a sign for adoption. Months went by and he was still left in the cage with minimum food. A friend of Jake’s foster mom was in the area one day and saw him. She quickly called Jake’s foster mom for help. Jake’s foster mom is an experienced dog rescuer/trainer. She knew it was urgent to save him before he got send to the high killer shelter. Since the first day Jake arrives at his foster mom, he adjusted well and loves to play with all the dogs like him waiting for a chance in life. He’s also very friendly with the foster’s family son who is 8 years old. Jake will make a great family dog as he is one loving boy.

Jake has been checked by the vet. He is healthy, had his vaccinations, rabies shot, neutered and microchip. All he needs is for a family to open their hearts to him and give him a new life! Please give Jake a home to call his own.
