My name is Max!

German Shepherd Dog Dog for adoption in Little Rock, Arkansas - Max

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Max's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Max's Story...
Max is a big (and we mean big) love bug ready for his forever home! He is average-high energy and fairly submissive. Gets along with humans and other dogs fine. Cat compatibility unknown.
Max is a 1.5 year old German Shepherd Dog. He is a large dog at 80+lbs.
Max needs a home with NO small livestock (rabbits, chickens, etc.) He would do well with another canine companion, preferably no small dogs to avoid accidental injury when playing. He needs a very active family, willing to take him along on hikes, bike rides, runs, long walks, swims, etc. German Shepherds are a working breed and enjoy a job to do.
Adoption fees subject to discount for the perfect family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Little Rock German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Little Rock, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Little Rock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Little Rock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Little Rock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Little Rock paves the way for another one to be saved.
