Alfredo is a happy, mellow, and playful puppy. He is friendly with people, gentle with children. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes and also good with cats.

Alfredo is very playful and full of puppy energy. He has a loving nature; he loves being around people. He is extremely sweet and very cuddly. He always wears a big smile when meeting people. Being so young, he follows commands well. In general, Alfredo is an easy-going, calm and well behaved boy.

Meet Alfredo!

Alfredo was abandoned in front of a super market. He waited patiently at the market entrance for his heartless master to come back for him. But what he's hoped for did not happen. The owner of the super market instructed a staff to send Alfredo to the shelter! That is a notorious high-kill shelter. Doggies will be put down if not able be adopted within a max of 12 days.
The warm-hearted super market staff asked one rescuer for help instead. The rescuer got Alfredo off the street and brought to the vet for a full check-up. Alfredo received a clean bill of health from the vet.

Now Alfredo is receiving good care at his foster home. He is very healthy and is ready for adoption! We are looking for a family that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Alfredo is patiently waiting for a home to call his own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alfredo, a Castro Valley Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
