Leia came to the sheler from the Petsmart Rescue Waggin'. She is a wonderful dog looking for a new place to call home. Leia had a mast cell tumor removed from her left rear leg while at FVHA. The pathology report indicated that the tumor was not aggressive and removal was complete and likely to be curative. However, there is a small chance it could return and spread.

We always recommend crate training, exercise, playtime, and a regular schedule for potty breaks when bringing a new dog into your home. Adjustment takes time for both you and your new family member, so remember to be patient and enjoy this new and exciting time!
