Obi is a 3-year old white Maltese/Poodle mix who weighs about 12 pounds. He is a very sweet dog with people and other dogs. When he is around people only, he is very submissive and loves to be right next to you or on your lap. He does get jealous if you are giving attention to another dog, but the other dogs don't seem to mind. He is possessive of his toys and likes to shred them. Except for pulling which we are working on, he does well on a leash. He is a door dasher, so a secure home with no young children is a must. He loves to play with the other dogs. He is housetrained.

We suggest a home with children over the age of 10 for this dog. This dog cannot be adopted out of state. Please see our home page for a list of our Saturday adoption sites. Every potential adopter is required to fill out an adoption application and the dog is placed in the home that would be most suitable for the dog. We do not place our dogs in homes with unfenced swimming pools. Generally we don't release the dogs at the adoption site that day except on occasion to former adopters.
