Bruno is an 11 month old, 65 lbs, Border Collie mix who is friendly with other dogs, cats, and likes horses! He is initially shy with new people, but once he warms up, he acts like a typical puppy. He has a very mellow, relaxed personality. However, Bruno has trouble trusting men. Therefore, we would like him to be adopted by a WOMAN.

Bruno's Story: Bruno was hanging out in a Miami suburb, likely abandoned. Feeling sorry for him, the residents fed him and eventually won his confidence so they could care for him. But Bruno needs a home of his own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruno, a Miami Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Miami, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Miami.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Miami already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Miami breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Miami paves the way for another one to be saved.
