Reggie is 8 years old and weighs about 18 pounds. His past owner has had some major life changes and can no longer keep him as her best friend in life. Her heart is broken and we are trying to provide Reggie with a final and forever home again. Here are some great insights into this little guy’s personality and charming habits: He loves to play fetch and run fast. He is very attached to his bed and will drag it around the house to sit where people are. He likes being tucked into his bed with his blanket at night, but will tuck himself in without you if you stay up to late. He is very popular at the dog park, as well as the kennel where he has been staying quite frequently. He loves playing with other dogs, especially when he gets to run around really fast, and ESPECIALLY when he is faster than the bigger dogs (we think it's a bit of a Napoleon complex). This little guy is a total entertainment act all his own. The Jack Russell intelligence and energy has him being mistaken for a rabbit if he is ever seen in an open field investigating the wildlife that he can chase. Reggie is a little cautious at first with new people he meets. Just a little skeptical in the beginning and then once he warms up it's true love. He doesn't chew things that don't belong to him, and he is housetrained. He is pretty much a great companion for someone who is in early retirement and would love a constant and vivacious companion that will keep life exciting and fun. Reggie is your FOURTH of JULY guy!
