Hi, my name is Zorro. I am an elegant Dachshund of mixed origins. I’m approximately 2½ years old, weigh (ideally) 19 lbs, and (thanks to the lovely folks at Tiny Paws and the Montreal SPCA) I am micro chipped, neutered, and fully vetted.

Like my Mexican folk hero namesake, I am handsome, athletic, energetic, loyal, and playful (and extremely humble…of course).
[NOTE FROM FOSTER DAD: Why is it that I can help but hear Ricardo Montalban or Antonio Banderas when I re-read that last sentence???]

I am still learning to play (you mean that I can run after that toy AGAIN if I bring it back to you?!?!?! COOL…), but I am ready to meet a new family to continue learning new exciting things. (My foster Momma has taught me to stay on the sidewalk while we jog/run our daily 10 km).

I am still a little bit shy with other dogs and people when we first meet, but, once I know them, I am more than willing to play and I would love to go to a family where I would have other siblings. I am house trained (LOVE all kinds of toys that keep me stimulated), and crate trained (it protects me from the invisible monsters when mommy & daddy are away for a while).
