Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Goldie is a 2 year old Lab/Corgi mix who has a lot to offer to her forever family. Her foster family says: Goldie loves to chase and tug
toys with people and dogs. She is doing well with the "sit" command, but sometimes life is just too exciting and she has to
turn crazy circles. I do think she will be a dream dog to train as she is keen to learn and takes instruction from all of us.
She loves her walks and you have to watch that in her enthusiasm she doesn't get out the car before you
invite her to. Goldie loves being in the car and given enough leash would have her back legs on the seat and her
front on the central console so that she could see where we are going. She has walked in very rural settings and
residential walks, both on her own and with my dogs. She goes at quite a pace and has found a zest for life. She is fully
house trained. and plays well with my smaller dogs (12lbs and 22lbs).
It is amazing how much Goldie has blossomed in the past few weeks. When she first came into our shelter a few weeks ago we were horrified to learn that she was full of BBs. It's hard to believe anyone could shoot such a nice dog. She is so sweet and submissive. She will be spayed on Friday so we'll have to decide at the last minute if she's recovered enough to be shown (possibly on Sunday). She gets along great with other dogs, but we're not sure about cats. She is a little bunny hunter if you let her. Apply at www.saveadog.org
