My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Athena is a 2-year-old blue merle Great Dane. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She also has gastropexy (tacked her stomach to prevent a bloat). She is full of energy she loves car rides and being able to run free. She is very protective of her family, especially the kids. She loves to cuddle but only if she invites you to cuddle. She is good with dogs she knows, but timid around dogs she does not know. She prefers to have her own wide open space where she comfortable to run and play. She is very active and can be very vocal when she wants to play. She loves stuffed toys, but will demolishing then to get the squeaker. She tends to sleep close to where she can monitor the household especially keeping an eye out to be sure the kids are OK at night. She is fully house trained and crate trained. She gets anxious when left alone, so she needs to be in a home with someone who is there most of the day.
