Here's what the humans have to say about me:
AVAILABLE 06-16-15 On 06-10-15 this handsome dog was brought to the Shelter by a nice lady who found him in the northern end of Pasquotank County. We named him Kennedy, checked him for heart worms - his test was negative, so we gave him a preventative. We also gave him his basic shots, a dewormer and sprayed him for fleas. Kennedy seems to be mostly Lab - has that "happy go lucky" Lab personality. He does pretty well on leash walks. Kennedy might even be housetrained as he truly seems to hold it until he gets out for a walk. You Lab lovers really need to come to the Shelter in Elizabeth City and meet Kennedy, take him for a walk - you might beside that he's the dog for you.
