Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Two-and-a half years old, Oscar is crate-trained, potty-trained…Is this Ohio beagle a super beagle? Oscar comes out of his shell a bit every day. He is still timid of people though. He has a great appetite, but still can't figure why these treat things are such a big deal to his foster brother and sister. He loves going on walks if leashed with a harness and loves to run and play with his foster sister. He doesn't much care for having a leash attached to his collar. We haven't been able to do much training yet, since he doesn't seem to either care for or know what treats are, BUT he has been responding to his name & the word "down". Not a bad start for such a shy guy from a puppy mill in Ohio. He is also learning that being petted is pretty nice.
Contact Mindy at mmiller@beaglebuddies.org to obtain an application. If interested in adopting we require a home visit and an adoption agreement with a fee. Oscar's adoption fee is $200. He is already neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped. A copy of his vet records is provided upon adoption to set up a file at your vet. We supply collar, temporary ID tag, and leash as well.
