Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I looked at my hands to see if I was the same person. There was such a glory over everything. The sun came up like gold through the trees, and I felt like I was in heaven. - Harriet Tubman
Okay..so perhaps Gloree didn't look at her hands because she has paws, but we guarantee she noticed the sun come up through the trees as she took her freedom ride away from 2 months of shelter life. What a glorious day it was for this sweet girl whose time was up and the clock ticking down. Gloree hitched a ride straight to her wonderful loving foster home where she began the journey of learning how a well loved and cared for pup gets to live. Gloree is a 9 month old black lab /German shepherd mix weighing 30 lbs. She is expected to be around 40 to 45 lbs when full grown. Our precious little girl has come a long way in a short time. She is already house trained and for the majority of time has very good house manners. She is still a puppy and doesn't always know the difference between toys and say...shoes or socks so she is still in need of some guidance and supervision (she's a smart pup and will get it in time). She is doing quite well with her crate and leash training. Gloree is eager to learn and please and will happily show you her pretty 'sit'. She HAS already MASTERED the art of snuggling. Life is always so much better with a love bug laying by your side, especially on those cold winter nights. We're betting she will be a great foot warmer too!! But saying as how it summer right now, we'll just share that she quite enjoys cooling off in her baby pool so water is okay by her. Of course she enjoys running and playing, as do most little girls. She is really fond of her chew toys and bones so keep plenty on hand. Gloree loves playing with other dogs and she gets along well with cats. She adores people big and small and is more than willing to engage in puppy games with all. Gloree is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and current on preventatives. So what would make this baby girl extra happy? You would! Her heaven on earth will be to live the rest of her life with people who will forever cherish, love, and adore her as a permanent member of the family. The sun coming up on her freedom ride was wonderful, but the sun coming up on her forever ride will be Gloree(ous).
