Carson's Story...
This sweet girl is Carson and she was found as a stray with her 3 siblings abandoned on a country road and then taken to the shelter where I picked them up. Carson looks to be a black lab mixed possibly with border collie. She is estimated to have turned 8 weeks old on 6-8-15 and was spayed on that date. She is also up to date on all other vetting. She weighs about 10 pounds currently but is growing fast now that she is here with me and eating well! Carson is located in Arkansas but we have transport that delivers our ADOPTED dogs to the Northeast once they are adopted. For more info on Carson- please email Sandy at vshutchins@gmail.com and thank you for considering a rescue doggy!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carson, a Buffalo Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
