Ginny's Story...
Name: Ginny
Breed: Border Collie/Husky-type mix
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Female

Ginnie is a 40 pound, 1 year old mixed breed... maybe Border Collie and Husky?.. a very sweet, mild mannered girl who enjoys playing with other dogs, going for hikes off leash in the woods, and making new friends. While she's a quieter, more low key dog she sure keeps up well on any walks or hikes and enjoys being outside with her people. She appears to be house trained, although her foster is very experienced, and crates for the workday. She is not a barker and when with other dogs, watches and takes her cues from them. She is used to a fenced yard for bathroom time but would probably do fine being leash walked also.

Requirements: No special requirements

You can email with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginny, a Minneapolis Border Collie/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Husky for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Border Collie/Husky dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Husky breeders who help with Border Collie/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
