My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sailor Moon is only about a year old, but her young eyes have seen much pain in her short life. She was found as a stray fighting to nurse her 5 kittens. She was scared and emaciated, and then ended up at Animal Care and Control where she contracted an upper respiratory infection. Needless to say, she felt alone and terrified and because she hissed in the crate, trying to protect her babies, she was believed to be feral. This family ended up on the dreaded kill list and was desperate for a way out.
Empty Cages Collective rescued her and her babies (now all adopted!) and sent them all to one of our foster homes to recover from her ordeal, and that has made all the difference!
Sailor Moon has shown that all she needed was a little TLC, and that love can go a long way in making bodies and souls heal. Still feeling weak, and not producing enough milk she needed a bit if help to feed her family, and in return for that help Sailor Moon was endlessly grateful.
Feeling safe in her foster home, she went from hiding to seeking attention in a matter of days! Her babies were quick to follow, and became some of the most affectionate and cuddly kittens we have seen.
Sailor Moon now loves being petted and having her ears scratched. She would probably do best in a home with experienced cat parents or someone who is very patient so that they can make her feel safe.

Sailor Moon is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and has tested negative for FELV/FIV.
