Hi there! My name’s Jane. I was named Jane Deere because I was found alone and terrified and crying in a patch of long grass as this big huge loud lawnmower buzzed around me! I was so terrified I couldn’t move. I probably would have been run over, but thankfully someone found me and took me away and now I’m with Team Cat!
At first all I did was hide and only felt safe in the arms of the lady that saved me. But I’m not so scared anymore. She’s been so nice to me, I almost forget how scared I was that day. Now I am so happy I purr and cuddle and even roll over for belly rubs. I’m an independent girl, though a bit shy at first. Once I get to know you though, I will occasionally show my affection by sitting on your lap for a late night cuddle. I’ll chase anything that moves and love exploring… I’ll know every nook and cranny in your place in no time! And if you get mice or anything? You can count on me to take care of it -- I'm super fast!
I’m about two months old and have my first set of vaccines. But if you adopt me, I’ll have all my vaccines and the other stuff like spaying taken care of as part of the adoption fee. If you’re interested in me, you need to bring my buddy Talia along. We’re a team… peas in a pod you might say… and we do everything together, whether it’s eating, sleeping, playing, grooming, or wreaking havoc. You can find us wrestling like crazy one minute and then passed out asleep on top of each other the next. We may look alike, but we aren’t related and are a few weeks apart in age. Talia is a few weeks younger and has yellow-green eyes, whereas mine are more yellow. We’re small cats, but we have big personalities! If you adopt us, you’ll never have a dull moment, lots of love and cuddles and a lifetime’s worth of funny antics to entertain you.
