Lester's Story...
Loving 12 year old Lester is by far the coolest and most amazing cat you will ever meet. Approximately 7 years ago, Lester was hit by a car and the damage to his rear left leg was so bad that it had to be amputated. He has no problems getting around. Lester is diabetic and requires insulin twice a day and fancy feast canned food. He does well with other animals and loves everyone he meets. He is affectionate and enjoys being with his people or curling up the other animals in the house. He will lay there all day long purring as long as you scratch him and give him love. He is exceptionally confident in new environments and makes himself at home within minutes of arrival. We know this amazing cat deserves the chance to be happy and he will steal your heart.

If you would like to make Lester a forever member of your family please apply on line at Animal Aid Foundation Adoption and Foster Application

The adoption fee is $60 and includes: neuter, vaccines and FELV/FIV testing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lester, a Rochester Hills Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester Hills, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Rochester Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
