Update: Paul is here and settling in nicely. He's a spunky little guy weighing in at 7.6 lb. He's doing fine with dogs of varying sizes in his foster home, but so far seems to prefer to play with Mary, who is similar in size and who he was in foster with before coming to HDR. He slept quietly in the crate with Mary his first night here. He's fine with cats, actually a little afraid/hesitant around ours at the moment, but the former foster said he liked to try to play with their cat. He's really quite cute in person...his photos don't do him justice. If anyone's looking to adopt 2 little dogs, Paul and Mary would make a great pair!
Paul will be arriving in foster care on 9/1. He will be ready to meet with adopters on or after 9/8. Paul is neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. He is coming to us from a rural foster home with 2 other chi's. The foster mom says they play well with other dogs and also try to play with the cats.
8/19 update from temp foster: Paul is wonderful. He is the most playful and outgoing of the three chi's. Gets along with everyone including cats. First one to run to me when I call them all in. He's about 4 years old and weighs about 10 lb.
