Hi there! My name is Pogo and I am ready to become that companion missing from your life! I am a long haired dachshund who was surrendered to a kill shelter by my previous owner, and although they claimed my age to be ten years old, I certainly don't act it. I am fun, playful and I like EVERYBODY! I love playing with kids, adults, elderly, other dogs and don't have a mean bone in my body. Unfortunately my previous owners didn't do a very good job keeping my mouth healthy and I had to lose a lot of my teeth. However, I don't let that slow me down at all. I can eat small dry food, moist food, people food and alien food. Let's face it, if it ends in "food", I can eat it. Did I mention that I am house trained? At night I love to cuddle. I would be best with a retired couple, a family willing to spend lots of time loving on me, or a person looking for that perfect companion to spoil and spend lots of time with.
